Before adding your first product, let’s get familiar with how product categories, tags, and attributes work.

Product Categories

Product categories and tags work in much the same way as normal categories and tags you have when writing posts in WordPress. As a vendor or seller in GetValue you can select at any time when you first create a product or come back and edit it or the category/tag specifically.

Product Types

GetValue allow seller to offer only on type of product which is downloadable.

• Downloadable – behaves like a virtual product meaning all shipping options are disabled. Furthermore it activates additional fields where you can provide a downloadable file. After a successful purchase, customers are given a downloadable file as a link in the order notification email.

Adding product

Adding a product is similar to writing a post in WordPress.

1. Go to Products > Add Product. You then have a familiar interface and should immediately feel at home.
2. Enter a product Title, Brand, Category, Price, Quantity, Summary and Description.
3. Add Product Preview files and
4. Go to Downloadable Media type and select desired option .

If you select Media File

1. Select Media type and Episode count
2. Add Downloadable files and finaly
3. Add product status
4. Click save

If you select Virtual Product Link

1. Add Product Link
2. Add product status
3. Click save
   

Soon after filling all the required fields, you can now submit your product for approval and review. GetValue team will review your product and publish it for starting the sales journey.
